Discipline is essential for success! My foundation for discipline comes from many years of martial arts training. Besides being able to defend myself in any dark alley, I believe that martial arts represent life’s movement and power. I carry these skills forward in my business through focus, strength and conflict resolution which are practiced parts of my character.

Serenity is a gift we all deserve. My personal serenity is drawn from two decades studying body mechanics, deep tissue massage and sports medicine. In 1980, I was one of the youngest therapists in an industry that would, four years later, begin skyrocketing in popularity. I had the great honor of working all over the globe with world class athletes at numerous World Championships including the Atlanta Olympics. Many well-known sports heroes have been my clients. I could tell you who they are, but I value the trust and confidentiality of my clients too much, be they athletic icons or home buyers.

Reducing stress is important and I believe that a real estate deal should be a joyful, positive experience no matter the circumstances. In training athletes and massage students, I developed a calmness during stressful times of competition, education, injury, and rehabilitation. My promise to any client is that when we do business you will find peace and well being through even the most stressful transactions. If not the shoulder massage is on me.

Ecology is the new cornerstone of Real Estate. I believe that California and the Bay Area in particular will lead the charge in green living. I try to live gently on this earth and I am energized by the opportunities in new and refurbished housing which offer lower impact lifestyles coupled with beautiful homes.

As Palo Alto homeowners and Real Estate investors, my family practices green living, too. My wife, Sharon is a gourmet cook with an MBA and a career in Leadership Development. Intellect and good eats, she is the love of my life. My daughter started her own neighborhood recycling business when she was almost five years old. She has been a role model for her friends who are starting their own bottle collecting endeavors. To say I am proud of her would be an understatement.
