Inventory of homes is still very low throughout the Bay Area which is generating multiple offers for some listings. This means we will run out of detached houses to sell in Fremont within 30 days at the current rate of sale (assuming no new listings are added). In a normal market, the average inventory is between 6-7 months. if you have considered selling your home, contact me for a detailed presentation so you can make an informed decision based on data.
If you are in the market to buy, keep in mind that it can take up to 4 months or more to find a home, make an offer, navigate the process and finally get the keys. To buy a short sales, plan a 5-6 month process. Interest rates continue to remain historically low but this scenario will not last forever.
